Me and Nayla we always hoped that our son Rayyan won’t have to experience what we lived during the 15 years of civil war and the economic crisis we have survived during the 80’s 90’s.

Rayyan, who is 2 years old now, and in about a 6 months period, has already went through a tougher economic crisis and in just 2 seconds, his entire city got vanished, and what he has to describe that is a “pa2” sound he keeps on repeating which was the explosion sound and then that of the broken glass...

It seems as if we are living in a city that refuses to have a history other than that of destruction and death...
